Admission Criteria:
The main criteria for entry into the Second Chance Halfway Home program are that the applicant must be able to pass a drug screen. Applicants must be male between the ages of 18 and 65, capable of employment, and meet the day-to-day requirements of the program.
Second Chance Halfway Home will accept individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder without psychotic features. Participants in this program must be able to function successfully in a structured living environment without a threat of being a danger to self or others.

Program Requirements:
- Abstain from ALL mood and mind-altering substances
- Pass a drug test prior to admission into program and submit to random testing throughout the duration of the program
- Make a minimum 12-month commitment
- Work a program of recovery
- Attend daily 12 step meetings
- Find a sponsor
- Find a job and attend work regularly
- Pay weekly program fees
- Respect one another and support each other
- Demonstrate a willingness to adhere to all rules and regulations
- Be willing to participate and be a part of a sober community
